The Key of Life is our only treasure;
You laid it deep into my soul like a pearl
And I hid it in you like a secret pleasure.
I utter “friendship” thinking about the pearl
That shines so pure and bright within our hearts
And it whispers that we’ll never be apart.
The core of each soul has a drop of love in it,
But some people do not show it a bit;
Life is a depressing journey without a friend
Who gives a meaning when one lends a helping hand
And one’s there by your side to encourage you.
I thank God for sending me friends so kind and true,
Who bless my days every time I hear their voice
And they support me when I make a choice.
