The Adventure

December 7, 2014

Sunny days, storming nights
And many more like these you can find in this life’s sky.
Crossing the mountains, the road will always be too steep.
And just when you were about to stop and faint,
The end of the road you reach!
A walk in the meadows, a trail in the valley.
A climb to the trees, the sensation of your head dangling
As you hang upside down, looking at this life,
At this road that neither of us can deny.
You run, you crawl,
You tumble and hit your mouth.
Crying, laughing,
Thrashing and prodding, we all live.
We all live to grow, to be amazed.
To go with ease or walk through the days with haste.
In this, our own world that we call Life.
Full of mountains and lands of imposing sights.
We all must walk through it all at some point:
Storms, valleys, mountains and sunny days…
But none of these are fun if you don’t rejoice.
For this is your life!
Your pick!
Your choice!
It is always your story, your pen…
Your Adventure.
So take your backpack, your walking stick and your choices.
And don’t forget the most important item:

Ok, I know no one has said it, but… Come on… This poem is great. 😛 I honestly loved making it. I think, that life is an adventure that one should take head on and with a smile. Enjoy and enrich yourself with every second of your life. You’d be so surprised at all those little beautiful things in this adventure. Never stop living. Never stop growing. Never stop walking your roads and fighting your monsters.

Create your own tales, and share them. Who knows who can take your wisdom as inspiration for their lives.
Become a map for other people’s roads.

Haven’t I said it? Not even in a private message, when you sent it to me? Well, I love it and I think it’s wonderful. The picture you chose goes well with it and… oh, we should have added a song too, like a soundtrack for when you read it. 😀 In the poem and in your comment I see a lot of the Noexis I know as a friend and even traces of Tom Hiddleston’s influence on you. “Your sky, your limit”, right? Love you!

Hehehe. Well you did, but not here, where you wanted it 😛 I think it should have a soundtrack, yes. I love you too, Ellie! :*

Oh, before I forget. I sent you an e-mail. Has it reached you? I hope you’re alright. Hugs! :*

Hey, I know this is annoying (technology is a pain in the bum) but I haven’t recieved any email. 🙁 you could pass me yours and I can email you. I hope you’re doing alright. Don’t let these youngsters contaminate you with their Pop culture 😛

    Love you lots, kiddo! 😀

Have you checked the spam folder? Maybe it went there. Tell me… is there anyone from facebook you keep in touch with? Maybe one of the admins. I could send her a message with my email address. If not, we’ll see when we’re both around eLitere and send it to you then. I’m doing alright, darling, and I hope that so are you. It’s pretty much work and getting ready for the exams for the next two weeks. And stories… and coffee… and some wine 😉

Have a great day, with lots of lovely stuff to fangirl over! 🙂 Hugs!
